SO/ Auckland x Adrion Atelier

For New Zealand Fashion Week 25, Adrion Atelier partnered with SO/ Auckland to transform the hotel’s iconic Presidential Treasury Suite into an immersive design space. This collaboration reflected a shared commitment to pushing boundaries, merging fashion, art, and hospitality in a way that felt both intimate and avant-garde.

The Adrion Atelier Suite offered guests and visitors a glimpse into the world of the label, set against a backdrop of opulence and mood. More than a showroom, it became a space for dialogue and connection, where construction and deconstruction met, and the boundaries of fashion were reimagined.

'OPAQUE BOUNDARIES' - PART 2 - ME SEEING ME!

‘ A nod to the unseen constraints being deconstructed.’

This collection explores the deconstruction of hidden rules and opaque cultural expectations—particularly those shaping self-expression, appearance, and femininity in the workplace.

Designing within these constraints allowed me to challenge and redefine them, using construction and deconstruction to reshape the silhouette while still existing within the expected boundaries. I played with curves and draped lines, merging masculine and feminine elements to create a balance that feels both new and familiar.

Each piece reflects a dialogue between structure and fluidity, honouring the power of femininity and the strength of self-expression.
